B2B Technology Sales Manager (Telecoms & I.T Managed Solutions)

Comms Group is looking for an internal B2B Sales Manager to head up their technology solutions division, being responsible for managing and growing a team of sales account managers who are selling technology products and managed solutions into the business end user and reseller channels.

As an industry leading UK wide technology company and part of the adEPT PLC Group of companies whose turnover is in excess of £60m, Comms Group are very competitive and technically advanced and well placed to win business and provide excellent on-site training. The technology solutions division is backed up by an on-site experienced and fully accredited support department. This position is available immediately at the office in Northampton.

As a market leader in managed technology services the purpose of the role is to manage and develop an experienced sales team with help and guidance from a senior management team which you will become part of. The company want to continue with its growth so training and focussed recruitment are all part of this role.

To be considered for this opportunity you will need the following:

Essential Skills

  • Previously been responsible for other team members either as a team leader or manager
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
  • Have very good attention to personal and team diary planning and impeccable administration
  • Aware of departmental profit and loss/budgets
  • Have the ability to motivate and grow a team
  • Be able to present in front of customers and colleagues
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively over the telephone and face to face
  • Proven track record of consistently delivering team targeted sales figures
  • Good experience within either the telecoms solution (fixed line, mobile, connectivity) or I.T solution (O365, Azure, Cloud PBX) sectors EITHER on premise or cloud based

Desirable & Advantageous Skills

  • A proven track record of delivering £15k+ telecoms or I.T solutions
  • Knowledge of the Avaya IP Office product portfolio. L.G. Platform or Mitel
  • Knowledge of Sage & Microsoft Dynamics CRM

The package will be based upon experience and criteria required

Duration: Full Time

Hours: Monday - Friday 08:30/9:00am to 5:30/6:00pm (flexible)

Salary: Basic Salary (Negotiable) + uncapped team commission (targeted first year OTE £80,000)
